This Privacy Policy explains what information Konnect Gaming ("Konnect", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Konnect Gaming app or website (konnectgaming.net), you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We do not sell your personal information. Konnect does not process payments for in-app gameplay; competitive play is for glory, rankings, and bragging rights. Where merchandise or external event tickets are offered, checkout happens on a third-party storefront — Konnect never receives your card details.

2. How we use information

Provide, maintain, and secure the service and your account.
Run tournaments, duels, leaderboards, messaging, and discovery features.
Send notifications you've enabled (match alerts, reminders, updates).
Detect abuse, cheating, and violations of our Terms.
Understand usage and improve the product.

3. Service providers we share with

We share data only with providers that help us operate the service, under their own terms:

Google Firebase — authentication, database, hosting, push notifications, image moderation.
PostHog — privacy-defensive product analytics (input masking enabled).
Resend — transactional email.
PayPal / Square — only if you use a payout/payment feature.
Discord / Twitch / start.gg / Challonge / Eventbrite — only when you link those accounts or open their content.

4. Your rights & choices

Access & deletion: You can permanently delete your account and personal data in the app at Settings → Delete My Account, or via our account deletion page.
Notifications: Manage in Settings → Notifications or your device settings.
Location: Clear your saved area anytime in Settings.
Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, port, or restrict processing — contact us to exercise them.

5. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, stats, and personal records; limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, or financial-settlement purposes.

6. Children

Konnect Gaming is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Some features may require you to be the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted transport, scoped access rules, server-side authorization). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
